Favourite Golden Oldie: Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty

This month’s favourite golden oldie is a song that is close to my heart, and it also features one of my favourite areas of London, Baker Street!

The song Baker Street is a highly underrated track by composer Gerry Rafferty. Baker Street talks about a relationship gone wrong and is set against the backdrop of a famous saxophone solo with some amazing electric guitar rifts. The song has been sung by the late Gerry Rafferty himself and its video is an almost true representation of life in London in the 1970’s.

Enjoy this month’s favourite golden oldie and let me know if you have previously heard this amazing song!
