Happy Valentine’s Day: My top favourite romantic songs

The season of romance is fast approaching us in the form of Valentine’s Day, and its safe to say thatyou can listen to all of the romantic happy and sad songs on this very day, regardless of your relationship status!

I am sharing some of my favourite romantic songs below. I have chosen all songs that feature in the happy genre of romantic music and I’d love to know if any of these are your favourites too!

Crazy for You – Madonna

Everyone loves a song from Madonna in the 80’s, and my top choice of her most romantic song from that era is the ballad Crazy for You. This song will definitely set the mood for you!

Runaway – The Corrs

My favourite Irish band The Corrs, are up next with their very popular love song Runaway. A true love song in every sense, Runaway will have you pining for true love in the very first few seconds of listening.

I didn’t know I was looking for love until I found you – Karen Ramirez version

If you are in the stage of new found love then this next track is for you. This song is truly a forgotten gem which I only re-discovered thanks to the power of radio.

From this Moment on – Shania Twain

If wedding bells are on the horizon for you, then this romantic ballad from Shania Twain is definitely one to add to your list!

Greatest Mistake – Jack Savoretti

Greatest Mistake is a beautiful love song on so many levels and for so many reasons. It is the ultimate reminder to tell your loved ones how you feel.

Hello My Love – Westlife

And finally, I am ending the list with a current favourite Hello My Love from Westlife. Nothing like putting the volume up and having a dance around to this one!
