2021 Petrichor International Music Competition Extended Deadline: July 18
Showcase your musical talent for over $10,000 value in prizes!

The 2021 Petrichor International Music Competition will mark the first occurrence of this annual music contest, and will provide support, inspiration, and exposure to instrumentalists and singers from around the world.

Open to all instrumentalists, composers, singers, and ensembles.

12 winners | 12 finalists  $10,000 value in prizes

All participants receive a 2-month iClassical Academy membership. (worth $48)
All winners and finalists receive a yearly iClassical Academy membership. (worth $224)

Categories:
A) Young Solo Performers (under the age of 21)
1st Prize: $500
2nd Prize: $300
3rd Prize: Honorable Mention

B)  Solo Performers, instrumentalists or singers (over the age of 21)
1st Prize: $1000
2nd Prize: $500
3rd Prize: Honorable Mention

C) Composers (acoustic or electronic works)
1st Prize: $1000
2nd Prize: $500
3rd Prize: Honorable Mention

D) Ensembles (groups with two or more performers)
1st Prize: $1000
2nd Prize: $500
3rd Prize: Honorable Mention

Note: Categories A and B may include piano/orchestral accompaniment or electronic parts.

In addition to cash prizes and iClassical Academy membership, the winners receive official certificate + press/media exposure + online recital + feature on website.

Participation will be conducted entirely online, and the musicians will be asked to submit a video of their performances or their composition scores/electronic music/score.

Jury Panel
The applications will be reviewed by a jury panel consisting of world-renowned musicians from The Juilliard School, Berklee College of Music, Eastman School of Music, and Mannes School of Music.
