Speaking about the inspiraon behind the song Keli explains “I found myself feeling lost in life. I had just moved to London, which felt like an overwhelming metropolis compared to the humble seaside city of Swansea. Furthermore, I’d spent 5 years living the simple and renounced life of a traveling monk. I now needed to find a posi0ve way forward in a ‘materialistic’ world.’
Skies is a song for all those searching for meaning from, and connec0on to the world. This stripped back performance inviteslisteners to look into themselves while offering support and comfort in the form of lush sonic textures and evocative words.

Keli Woods is a UK-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. Drawing on his personal journey into spirituality as a monk and a diverse range of influences (from big band swing to Vedic kirtan), his mesmerising melodies and soulful compositions ignite introspection and invite listeners to ponder life’s big questions.
This will be Keli’s second single release this year following on from two singles last year, namely Follow my Soul and the studio version of Skies. Keli debut album Falling Upwards was released in 2021 which featured prominent musician Jahnavi Harrison who Keli toured the USA with last year. Keli is now performing around the UK with his band.
