Compelled to tell the story of how he met his wife, ‘Summer ‘17’ traverses the highs and lows of falling in love over 10 captivating tracks. Known for his ability to effortlessly glide between a plethora of genres, Gabrielknowseverything takes a deep dive back into hip-hop where he first discovered his love for music. First emerging as an RnB artist in his hometown of Orlando, the record reflects the foundation Gabriel built his artistry upon, with the revisit to his breakout genre the perfect place to recount tales from his early years.

A dedication to the early throes of love, ‘Summer ‘17’ explores the emotions of igniting the initial flames of romance, right through to building a forever life with another soul. Opening with stunningly seductive slower track ‘When You Fall’, Gabriel’s narrative lyrics and silky vocals are reminiscent of his debut material. With a more mature sound, the powerhouse interweaves fiery beats and distorted tones through stand out tracks ‘Nani Nani’ and ‘X-Rated’.

Bringing back the slow jamz, Gabrielknowseverything feels right at home on songs ‘Mirrors’ and ‘Close To Me’, where his honey-like voice drips with seductive undertones. Perfectly depicting the experience of young 20-year-olds finding their feet with love, ‘Summer ‘17’ is a tale as old as time told through a modern lens.

Teaming up with several long-time collaborators including Myles Optimystic, Pat Zim and producer 87, ‘Summer ‘17’ was originally written during the 2020 pandemic. Going through several sonic transformations, the final album ‘Summer ‘17’ will be officially released on the 19th of July across all digital platforms.
