Albums I’m looking forward to in 2026

As we continue to make headway into February, I can’t help but get excited about my favourite artists releasing new albums this year. Noticeably, I am looking forward to albums from Myles Smith, Raye, Harry Styles and Freya Ridings, all of which have recently released new music this year.

Myles Smith

Myles recently collaborated with singer and former One Directioner Niall Horan, on the single Drive Safe. An up tempo track about losing your way and then finding it again, Drive Safe is already popular in the fandom and is another hit for Myles who has had an incredible journey in the music industry so far. I have loved Myles’s music since Stargazing and I am really looking forward to his next album.

Raye

Up next is multi award winning singer-songwriter Raye who literally needs no introduction! After her most recent smash hits Suzanne and Where Is My Husband, Raye is ready to release her second album This Music May Contain Hope. With such a promising title, and for anyone who enjoyed her first album 21st Century Blues, who knows what level of honesty will feature on this album!

Harry Styles

Returning after a 4 year break, Harry Styles definitely lifted our spirits this January with the release of his single Aperture. A series of announcements followed, including the announcement of his next album Kiss All The Time…Disco Occasionally, which received worldwide recognition and equal anticipation from fans. If Aperture is anything to go by, this album will be fully dance focused which definitely shifts the gear from Harry’s House 🏠 I am still very excited to see what Mr Styles has to offer us this time around, and I am so happy he is back 😊

Freya Ridings

Lastly, but certainly not the least, we have recently had new music from Freya Ridings. She has dropped not one, but two singles Wicker Woman (end of last year) and Wild Horse both of which showcase her own unique style of music. Freya first rose to fame with the single Castles in 2018, and I have been a fan of hers ever since. After her first album, Blood Orange 🍊 followed, and now there is a new album is on the way!
