Connor Adams Unveils Second Single Rush Hour from Traffic Lights and Announces London EP Release Show

Suffolk indie rock singer-songwriter Connor Adams returns with Rush Hour, the second single from his upcoming EP Traffic Lights, out March 20, 2026.
Following Freaking Out – which received regular support from Radio X and BBC Introducing – Rush Hour shifts gears. More restrained in tempo but loaded with tension, the track captures the pressure of chasing momentum while trying to hold personal life together.
Blending the anthemic scale of Arcade Fire with the grit of Queens of the Stone Age, the single pairs driving guitars and atmospheric textures with a raw, direct vocal.
Written after a whirlwind summer of festival appearances including Isle of Wight, Y Not and Truck Festival, the song reflects life lived between motorways, stages and stolen moments at home.
“Rush Hour is about trying to hold everything together when life won’t slow down.”
Adams will celebrate the EP’s release with a one-off London headline show at The Lower Third
(Up), Soho, on April 2nd – the first time Traffic Lights will be performed live in full. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am.
Rush Hour is released February 20, 2026.
Traffic Lights follows March 20, 2026.
