The London Soundtrack Festival extends its line up for its inaugural event in March 2025

The Silence Of The Lambs to be performed with live orchestra for the first time at the London Soundtrack Festival 2025.

Howard Shore’s score for the 1991 classic starring Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster will be performed by the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, conducted by Ben Palmer with the composer in attendance Barbican – 24 March 2025, 7:30 pm. Tickets on general sale Friday 22  November 2024, 10:00 am.

Kids in Glass Houses redefine their sound with brand new album Pink Flamingo

A whole lot has changed since Kids In Glass Houses went on indefinite hiatus in 2014.

You can hear every second of that turbulence, growth and rediscovery across comeback record Pink Flamingo though. “A lot has happened personally and in society since then, and I wanted this record to reflect that. It had to feel like ten years had passed,” explains vocalist Aled Phillips. “But it still needed the DNA of Kids In Glass Houses.”

The Swedish artist Sofia Härdig is recieving tributes and being hailed by critics and music blogs, playlisted and on radio rotation all over Europe, USA and Canada.

The legendary English DJ and journalist Steve Lemacq, famous for championing new artists and bands to success, has played Sofia Härdig in his radio show Steve Lemacq Recommends at BBC 6 Music. In Germany Radio Eins dedicated a full hour to her last album release.
