David Barnes (known also as Preston D Barnes) is a professional vocalist and musician who continues to make waves across the UK following a 22 year career in the British Army. During his military career David has travelled extensively across the globe to over 38 countries. He has played with world renowned artists such as: Jools Holland, Russell Watson, Catherine Jenkins, JLS, and had the opportunity of recording the re-release of Status Quo’s Famous single ‘In The Army Now’ in 2010 as a backing vocalist.

Jane is probably my favourite all-time Barenaked Ladies song,” Collen, frontman for Bent Roads Tavern writes. “In BNL’s catalogue, Jane stands out to me because of its incredibly subtle but elegant melody and its extensively layered lyrics.
