Get to Know: Singer-songwriter Sarah Louise shares her experience of recording her latest album Change Of Plan

I’m happy to share my next interview with UK Country Singer-Songwriter Sarah Louise! Avid readers of my blog will know that I have previously interviewed Sarah Louise, but this interview will be exclusively about her upcoming album Change Of Plan which releases on 28th March.

I personally, am a big fan of Sarah Louise who has an effortless way of communicating her thoughts and feelings through her songs, and having heard her brand new album, she certainly doesn’t disappoint! Read on to learn more about her album and the emotions behind it.

Hi Sarah, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts behind your upcoming album. Does the album carry any specific themes, and if so, why did you choose these particular ones?

The album follows Yellow ribbons (the past), The Shift (The realisation of what I am doing) The Now ep (Being present) and the reason it’s called Change of Plan is because it expresses the versatility of different genres and not having to stick to one which is a change in direction for me. The next 5 albums will be lots of collaborations too.

How different is it compared to your previous albums?
Lots of collaborations and many styles.
Do you have a favourite track?
It’s a hard question as I love them all for many different reasons, my stand out track is Better Be Lightning because of how it was created.

Were any of the songs particularly difficult to write?

It was emotional writing cup of coffee with perspective of a homeless person and the feelings they must have to go through on a daily basis and how hard it must be.

If there is one message that the listener can gain from the album, what would that be?

Being authentically and unapologetically you is the best way to be and to know your worth in love, friendships and life.

Thanks so much Sarah for sharing your musical thoughts behind the album. Wishing you all the very best for its release! You can follow Sarah Louise on all popular music streaming and social media platforms.
