Callum Beattie heading to Gig in the Goil

Boutique lochside festival Gig in the Goil have announced Callum Beattie as the latest headliner for their fifth birthday showcase.

The Edinburgh singer songwriter will join fellow main stage headliners Dougie Maclean, Trail West, Heron Valley & Face The West on the shores of Loch Goil from 7th – 9th May 2021, as Argyll Holidays’ hugely popular event returns for a fifth year, after taking a break in 2020 due to the pandemic.

“We’re delighted to have Callum on board for our fifth birthday event” said Event Manager Ross Coutts, “He’s one of the most exciting upcoming acts in the country at the moment and what better location than Lochgoilhead for his first ever festival headline set – It’s certainly going to be special.”

Gig in the Goil 2021

Gig in the Goil is well known for giving upcoming Scottish artists a platform on their rise to stardom, with Gerry Cinnamon, Lewis Capaldi, The Snuts & Be Charlotte all gracing the stage at Drimsynie Estate over recent years – and Callum is certainly heading in the same direction. His debut album People Like Us reached number one in the Scottish album charts earlier this year, with his single Salamander Street charting at number 6.

The festival – which offers luxury self-catering accommodation and deluxe hot tubs – prides itself in being family-friendly, with a host of children’s activities on offer across the weekend, plus food & drink produce from the local area.  It’s on course for a fifth-consecutive sell-out, so fans are being urged to grab their tickets & accommodation soon, from argyllholidays.com.
