Rxth releases her brand new single Starlight

When speaking about its creation Rxth says: ‘Starlight’ is one of those songs that, lyrically and melodically, arrived almost as a fully formed download. It was exactly what I needed to hear at the time, yet I didn’t feel like it was just for me. It’s a reminder that we’re all a ‘work in progress’ and not only is that ‘okay’, but it is as it should be. Our individual journeys of growth are unique, sacred, and beautiful. Even the hard stuff”.

Regarding production, Rxth shares how the track evolved: “I worked with ED Seed for the production, and he really helped take it to the next level. From its early incarnation as a piano/vocal track, he managed to take the theme of light and put sound to it with those beautiful glassy strings at the beginning and throughout. Then he sonically mirrored the topic of personal evolution with the way the track builds and gathers momentum throughout, we both loved the results”.

Sophie Griffiths Remembers Her First Real Heartbreak In Latest Single Evergreen

Sophie Griffiths Rolls Back The Years and Remembers Her First Real Heartbreak On Wholesome New Cut Evergreen.

Sophie Griffiths

Following on from the success of her recent single, Machine, Sophie Griffiths is back with a heartfelt love letter to friendships lost and new experiences gained on nostalgic cut, Evergreen.

It’s been no secret for a while that Sophie Griffiths, as a 19 year old artist, is writing songs way beyond her years in talent, skill and turn of phrase.

On new single, Evergreen, Sophie’s approach to songwriting and most importantly, story telling, shines through. The track sounds like a forlorn ballad about a relationship ending, but is rather cleverly telling the story of basically loving your mates and holding them close.

The track’s self-reflective lyricism may feel like just another teenage heartbreak song, but the tracks true meaning comes to the fore in the chorus as Sophie sings: “You’d never ditch me for a boyfriend, Cause our friendship’s too important, But you only call me back when he leaves”.
