After months of preparation working with Glasgow-based producer and musician, Jamie Holmes (The Lapelles, Gerry Cinnamon), The Katuns have just released their new post- summer indie rock anthem titled The Holiday. The third of their singles comes off the back of their eclectic debut tune Friend Like You, which sought out radio plays from the likes of BBC Introducing and gaining traction from UK promoters This Feeling, who have since been following the band and setting them up on their first string of gigs since the pandemic hit.

Described as a folk alt-love song, The Ballad of Life and Death features support vocals from Nashville based Rochelle Feldkamp and was once again produced, mixed and mastered by Sefi Carmel (Bowie, Bruno Mars, Massive Attack).
