Amy Wilde an alternative rock artist releases her new single single with a message on mental health and the male gaze. Trigger warning: the single does touch on some difficult mental health related issues.
Feb. 10, 2022 (LONDON) – Alternative artist, Amy Wilde, has released her latest single, All Its Bodies. The unsigned singer/ songwriter has elevated her previous production and transcends genre from Indie to Alternative Rock. Wilde worked with Brighton based Producer, David Evans, who mixed All Its Bodies; the track runs for just over four and half minutes listening time, appealing to fans of PJ Harvey and Wolf Alice.

Based between London and Brighton, Amy Wilde has featured on radio including BBC Introducing: The South, YDN Radio Brighton and Radio Reverb; an interview with MS GFO can be found at the YDN Radio Brighton website. Performances include opening for YDN Radio Brighton at The Green Door Store, Brighton, and headlining at The Moustache Bar, Hackney, with Underground Sound.
All Its Bodies is a commentary on the addiction of self-destructive behaviour and the strain of the male gaze that fetishises mental illness. With unwavering honesty, Wilde lyrically portrays themes such as body dysmorphia, to accompany the rock instrumentation and choral middle eight drop.
Wilde commented on the themes of All Its Bodies “I want to inspire people to create something out of their internal hells instead of becoming them themselves… I am immensely proud of the healing process I’ve accomplished to externally acknowledge and process many of the themes in All Its Bodies, and hope that I can encourage others to safely express and create something out of their personal battles too.”
Intimate, ethereal vocals and powerful instrumentation make for a hellish and heavenly listen to Amy Wilde’s music. Written and produced by the artist herself, Wilde writes about trauma, environmental damage, mental health and healing, crafting poetically inspired imagery, metaphor and suggestion to compose a larger question or idea.
