Call Me Unique is a talented Birmingham based singer / songwriter & guitarist. Her music is influenced by jazz, soul and jazz scat-singing. Merging sounds of Ed Sheeran, Lauryn Hill, Ella Fitzgerald & Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopez.
Her new EP -2.0 – was produced together with the Budapest based producer RÓQA who creates his uniquely layered beats by fusing dusty vinyl samples and analog synth sounds with futuristic electronic textures.
2.0 – is reflecting on the turning points in life and how u can handle them. Call Me Unique is playing with the thoughts of another “ME” in a world & life full of trouble & changes. Maybe there is a bit more in life – maybe there is a version 2.0 in everybody! Maybe a better one!
